Paymill Wiki – What is a Payment Page?

Setting up a Payment Page

A payment page is a web page that allows a customer to purchase items or services online. After selecting the desired product/services and filling out the relevant details, a customer is automatically redirected to a payment gateway (depending on the merchant’s preferred integration).

The payment gateway accepts credit and debit card details from the customer. The information is then securely passed on to the payment service provider, which processes the transaction and sends it back to the customer’s bank. The process is usually faster and easier than a traditional checkout process as customers can enter their credit or debit card information directly on the merchant’s website.

In addition to accepting credit and debit cards, payment pages can also be used to accept other forms of payments such as cash or checks. This option is especially useful for larger companies that want to keep control over the processing and checkout process.

Setting up a Booking Page

A Booking Page showcases your service menu, availability, and prices online. It can function as a standalone website, or integrate with your existing site. Visitors can self-schedule and pay for appointments 24/7 without having to call, email, or travel to your premises.

You can create up to six different layouts for your booking page. Each one has its own settings which can be changed to match your requirements. The layout wizard guides you through the options and gives you a visual representation of what is possible.

The layout can also be customised using CSS. To do this paste the code snippet below into
(SETTINGS) BOOKING ENGINE > PROPERTY BOOKING PAGE then click on ‘Manage’ and use the ‘Layout’ selector to choose your layout.

You can also add additional messages and change the default warning messages which appear when a room is unavailable. You can also activate multiple languages and give guests the option to see your prices converted into other currencies. To do this add &cur=EUR or &cur=USD to the URL and your web page will open with a conversion. Leading essay writing servicecoverletterwritingservice.com
